About Us
- We are Katrina & Kelsey Bacon, married for over 20 years, who spent the first eight years of that living in Katrina’s hometown of Worcester, England. We moved to the United States in 2010 and set out on a whole new journey which led us for a time through Logandale, Nevada, and finally to Cache Valley, which straddles the border of Utah and Idaho, settling on a small farm on the Idaho side. Surrounded by the beautiful Mountains of southeast Idaho, Including the Bear River Range, one cannot help but to live inspired. After 20 years in Change Management and Project Management roles in the corporate world, the urge to burst free finally consumed Katrina and she made the change and followed the dream, establishing Antiquary Artisan as the business end of her arts.
- We were already setting up as a sustainable homestead on our little farm and in was a natural extension to begin moving towards home grown and sustainable creativity. Katrina has spent more than 30 years learning and swearing at every craft she could try, and as a maker who is obsessed with creativity, she needed to focus on everything that was bursting out of her. With 20 years of experience in training and running workshops, managing teams, learning applications and working in the corporate world, teaching and collaboration was at last the natural direction to take her obsession.
